I mean if noone signs up for it, the people who bid for the rights will hardly bid for it again, if they make a loss on it, and then sky may get it back next year?
I don't get what the big deal is? Sky has a history for not bidding on football content until the competition is midway through. They are in the middle of doing this with the Confederations Cup, U20 World Cup and other football events. They stall and stall and stall so they can drive the price down.
It is about time they have a competitor in NZ regardless of how flawed the business case may be here.
