This supposed teamx release, is a rip off of jonc''s

"mx kiwi live tv" for Kodi

The streams are from a legal paywalled service for NZ .

this is going to screw things up for legit users of the service where the streams are sourced from.

Wow, it's pretty easy to find out where this is coming from. It's pretty amazing that the provider didn't bother authenticating their streams...

Almost could say they deserve it.

Why shocked , why all the drama?

The rules around copyright usage are different for educational facilitys. Its a not open to the general public , the service behind a wall for educational access. Just they havnt protected the stream very well

I'm a bit lost on this and the youtube and web links are dead.  I have installed the zip file, but a bit lost from there.  Does this still work I Kodi?

I assume these plugins use pirate streams, and as such, those die from time to time.

Probably one of the main reasons why kodi isn't taken seriously, or supported officially by any broadcasters..

Thanks Mauricio & David, this was recommended by a friend and although it seems a bit dodgy it seemed to be the best collaboration of online streaming services in NZ & Worldwide.  I really hope someone in NZ comes up with some kind of combined streaming app/service for free NZ content as it is all just too fragmented currently in my opinion.  I'm looking at My Freeview, but having a bad experience with the original devices am quite sceptical.

A supported device is probably the only way at then moment.. some sort of smart tv (does Samsung still have the Tvnz exclusive deal?)
