Rikkitic:

Sorry, I misunderstood. I was prepared to help that poster but the question was too vague, which I tried to point out. I guess some people don't like being corrected.

What I do agree with is the appreciation of your streams and the help you provide here. I know I am not the only one. Keep up the good work.

There are so many channel I could easily add from legit sources too,, but SKY NZ would have a total meltdown. I mean for example what if i published all the SONY PSVUE channels. The fact they are wide open on the official service and not protected or geoblocked wouldn't be my fault would it?

No point in poking the bear. I am happy to do it for myself once I learn how.

I have been searching these forums and the net on what I can expect from a xiaomi mi box with Kodi as far as Freeview tv is concerned. Looking at the web it doesnt seem too difficult to get it loaded etc but what use would it be to me and as such I have a couple of questions..

I assume for all freeview (minus Prime I understand) is available..but at what definition?

I assume for it to be available to Kodi someone must be getting the stream either via Freeview terrestrial or the non HD via sat?

What I am really interested in is another international news channel. Would I need a VPN for this?

Thanks

576-720 depending on broadcaster (no AC3 that I can easily find)

Nope, this is why Sky chase pirate streams. As that is how they work. The ones provided here are all from the suppliers direct streams you see when going to the involved ondemand site and chosing 'watch live'

Once loaded, the ones provided that are geolocked are marked as so. Some are not however.

For non live/ondemand addons from elsewhere, you do need to make sure the device can possibly do at least Kodi 18 due to the requirements.

If you install the desktop edition on your PC now it will give you a preview/idea before getting a dedicated device ;)

I think he probably removed them because they don't work properly.

Removed as they were not working properly

I think you can access them properly through their Kodi addon?
