alisam: I have read the Unotelly instructions. Naturally the Vodafone HG659 is not listed, so I followed the instructions for TP-LINK.

I entered the 4 static route entries, but afterwards I could still ping the ip addresses.
Tried a router re-boot but no change.

OK before you all laugh I entered for Gateway: 192.168.1.1.
Is that the correct for 'your router IP'.
Should I have entered the 'IPv4 address' (which I wrote down).
The instructions talk about using 'any unreachable IP that the router accepts should work' and give as an example 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.0.253. Should I try one of these?

I used the address of my Asus router, which is 192.168.1.1.

I can't recall what the local IP address of the HG659 is, but it is whatever you use to login to it.

The local IP address for the HG659, is 192.168.1.1.
I'll have another go (because I have since deleted them).

How did you get on?

I have emailed Lon at Vodafone, mainly to ask whether it is absolutely necessary for a tech support person to make the change. I don't understand why, I can see all the fields, but don't know the correct answers to some of them. Surely, they could provide some basic information/help on this site as they did with changing DNS.
