Apsattv: No, the Walesi service is also on Satellite not only Terrestrial, and Signal is good to New Zealand a lot of Fijians in NZ would be keen on it. I was looking at it yesterday, they are testing 2 new channels with colour bars. So quality can only get worse on the satellite capacity they have.

yep aware of them being on Eutelsat 172B and its range, but  i meant its on satellite but  rarely used for now as its expensive for people to buy the whole set, they may be giving the STB for free but the satellite dish isn't, also the STB they are using doesn't really have an LNB connection, only TV Aerial and 1 HDMI input and 1 USB (for recording), don't think the government thought this through when they brought that STB to fiji, they claimed it will be used for IPTV as well come 2020, will be interesting  on how they do that as well..yeah the 2 test channels became 12 sometime last week, then reduced to 2, i figure they are testing sky pacific channels as they will be rolling that out by august (https://fijisun.com.fj/2019/01/18/sky-pacific-and-walesi-sign-mou/)

Hi everyone:

I realised that I may be posting in the wrong thread since this is about Freeview on Kodi, but I do have a quick question/query and didn’t want to start a new topic just for it, so please bear with me...

Anyone has any recommendation on IOS apps (that works in both the iPhone and iPad) to view these streams? I tried GSE IPTV PRO, which largely works, but when I tried viewing on of the SBS channels, I get a “cannot open URL” error. TVNZ streams seems to work OK. I tried both kiwitv2,m3u and kiwitv3.m3u, but had some results.

Any thought/ideas?

Thanks peeps.

-C

Your app will need to support urls using Xfwd or X forwarded ip which pushes the appropriate i.p address to get around a block..

@apsattv - I reimaged by Kodi box yesterday (its a Pi running OSMC) but one think I couldn't get going where the freeview channels using your URL's.  Matt's ones worked find, but I assume over time yours have changed?  I have tried looking through this thread; page 3 has this:

http://www.apsattv.com/kiwitv.m3u

But then another page says its kiwitv3.msu

Can you please post the URL I should be using for this?  And I assume I should use Matt's XML for the EPG?

Many thanks for providing this service, its been amazing!

Thanks!  I didn't realise you could do a single page view!!

What about the kiwitv3.m3u that is also referenced in this thread? Is that newer? A test version?

I always wondered about the audio on space tv. It might have been interesting if there had been any.
