SirHumphreyAppleby:
Okay, so in summary, The Grand Tour / Clarkson and South Park are all just good fun and completely harmless.
All I want to know is was Seamen a good special and worth watching?
It was great. Classic shenanigans, good banter.
I remember a TG episode many years ago where they had a boat in canal and soaked a group of people at a Cafe on the edge of the canal... people complained because the people at the cafe were all actors!! Obviously it would be less offensive to soak unwilling members of the public?
Surely and acurate and truthfull observation of say, a country's climate is not racist... some would argue that not being allowed to say anything is more racist.
I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.

Yes, but to be fair to JC, he had just finished a hard day or sitting down driving a car......
JC's not perfect, he says nasty things about vegetarians, peugot drivers and our old chums, the jerries. You might even go so far to say he can be a bit of a tool sometimes.
TBH I'm not sure I would want to live next to him. But he does make entertaining telly, I'll give him that.
I'll re-sub for a short while and give it a watch with my lads.

I watched it this evening and enjoyed it. As an ex boatie I certainly related to their challenges. The ocean section would have been painful to the core and exhausting. I have been caught in seas like that in the Cook Strait and it's not fun.
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
