The first in a series of specials. Drops in December. Great to see the trio back together.

Looks like The Grand Tour is geoblocked in NZ. OK via Getflix. Who in NZ has the license for this program?

Not interested in watching these racist bigot boomers. Surprised this show is even allowed here in NZ. Sort yourself out Prime. Top gear has been so much better since they left.

LOL - and I presume all art needs to be inoffensive and match your world view as well?

I'm not calling TGT "art" either - I am trying to draw an analogy you could understand - how about comedians then? Are you suggesting that any comedian telling a joke offensive to some portion of society (here, or overseas), or gender etc - should be banned in NZ?

What about books? Should we burn any books that don't match your current view of what's acceptable and inoffensive?

BTW, this particular episode was incredibly entertaining.

Cheers - N

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I've been asking for an ignore list on here for years - it's been categorically ruled out. I did however just search that user's other posts and perhaps I should ask again!

So in your world it’s ok to be racist and it’s ok to make racist crap available to all Kiwis on TV?

Nope. We need to stand up against this crap that is eroding society. As I said, I am surprised this crap is available here in NZ. More surprised that some seem to enjoy it.

When a substantial portion of society approves of it, then yes, pretty much be definition it's ok to make this entertainment available. Unless TV and streaming services have changed substantially since I last used them last night, no-one has a gun to your head forcing you to watch it.

It sounds like you are trying to impose your moral view and interpretation on others. I find that substantially more offensive than anything on TV or the main streaming services that I can think of.

Are you able to address my other points about whether you'd like censorship of books and comedians and art? ie. getting anything you find offensive banned?

Cheers - N

You're 'surprised this show is even allowed here in NZ'.

But are you?

Are you really?

In regards to Top Gear being 'so much better since they left'... do you remember Chris Evan's? Do you remember how Top Gear was almost no more after his reign? How the show went through presenter after presenter to get to the point where they finally seem to have found people with some sort of chemistry that isn't entirely artificial? All the while the show is still struggling to regain the base that the original 3 (or 4) hosts has built over the years?

Remember, the three hosts you do not like built the show to the largest motoring franchise on the planet before they stuffed it up.

Since then it has only reduced in viewership / distribution, with the biggest competitor being the Grand Tour.

You may not like them, but I'm almost certain none of them would care about your opinion, my opinion or that of those who post on this forum.

@Stashe... while Clarkson has been fairly outspoken (which I entitely disagree with and love that even his own daughter called him out on it) personally, none of that has made it through to their content.

If you actually watched Seaman you will see he fully understands climate change is an issue. In fact, the first 'challenge' of this trip is attributed directly to climate change and how humans have tried to shape an environment (by damming a river in this case).
