Satch:davidcole: I'd agree. But I'd say your unlimited devices (netflix restricts you to 3) so we should be a bit more reasonable and expect say 3-5 devices rather than unlimited.
Is that three devices streaming Netflix simultaneously? If not then I have Netflix installed on my HTPC via WMC, two iPads, and two smart TVs in my house, and use all of them regularly (but not all at the same time).

Simultaneously. I'm sure it's 3 streams - I'm sure I've tested it on apple tv, computer and ipad then tried a 2nd computer.

depends on your subscription I believe. I just signed up for the trial and there was the non hd option with just 1 device at a time, hd + 2 devices at a time, and hd + 4 devices at once.

Jas777:
As an aside I totally get the use of netflix etc as you are paying a fee but how do people feel about accessing taxpayer funded content (BBC iplayer) when they are not a resident/citizen of the country? How can you complain about any government funding in NZ or those who access it when you are doing the same to another country and not telling the truth about who you are.

If the BBC would release an International version of it's online content and charge for it, I would so take them up on it.
Please BBC, take my money
why deny us who do not have the pleasure to reside in the UK ?

KiwiNZ: Why do I have this nagging feeling that Sky will make a complete pigs breakfast out of this?
Satch:shk292: Why anyone would pay $60 and upwards for Sky then not pay $15 extra to get MySky (which IMHO doubles or triples the value of Sky) is beyond comprehension.
Four letters - HTPC. Comprehend that.
TwoSeven: I wonder why they don't just implement DVB-H (and SH) - it would make things a lot easier for people to view their content.DVB-H receivers aren't common though and I think Sky already decided that it wasn't worth it before the Igloo concept - really as cheap and crappy a DVB-T2 service that has ever been offered anywhere, minimal technical effort for a little return and chance to keep the frequencies. Sky aren't and never will be into technical innovation.
