It has a plug pack.
In the review you just linked to there is a power supply with a US-plug. I see no plug pack there and the plug does not look like one where you can change the plug. So unless you mean something other than a power supply with exchangeable plugs (like some Apple power adapters) then it seems to me like you are wrong.
Cheapest way to deal with it will be a travel adapter. Warehouse or Dick Smith will probably have the cheapest ones.

My definition of a plug pack is a power supply with power pins coming out of it (and has been for the past 25 years)

freitasm: My Fire TV landed on YouShop. It's $22 to ship to New Zealand, and applied discount code "THANKYOU15" which brought it down to $18.70...
Now to see how long it takes to arrive here in Wellington.
trig42: Youshop usually takes about 5 working days once they have processed your payment.
I have something landing there today (LED bulbs).
rp1790: Well mine has arrived this morning. Downloading update, and yes I can confirm the power pack (plug) is 110-240 volt. Now to set it up...

Can you post a shot of the Plex and Netflix UI if you get a chance?

I bit the bullet and shipped from my Shipit.com address via Fedex Priority (about $50USD), couldnt wait.
First impressions....my MacMini (Plex client) and AppleTV (Netflix) are probably history.

Do you have Amazon Prime or a trial at least to determine if you can access Amazon Video internationally?
