steve98: I was able to setup a Netherlands iTunes account and install the app on my Apple TV, but it throws up an error once you try to use it. Darn.
Did you try with a vpn?
Tried via DNS4ME. But they wouldn't have had time to do anything with it yet I guess.

Disney (not Disney+) comes under one of their ‘multi network’ options near the top of the page, is that what you tried?
Tried a few different variations but nothing works currently. There is no sign-up button in the app, only 'login' button. Of course entering an email address here just throws up an error. I have been able to get to disneyplus.com/nl which again invites you to login but there is no way to sign up that I can see. Perhaps Disney have pulled the login forms at the moment?
CORRECTION: There *is* a sign-up button in the app, but as soon as I enter an email address it briefly tries to 'validate' it, then throws up the error.
Someone tried this?

I was looking around for Android apps and ran into this very interesting information. Here is an excerpt:
One week later, on Nov. 19, Disney Plus will launch in Australia and New Zealand. In the Land Down Under, the service will cost $8.99 AUS a month $89.99 AUS per year. In New Zealand, Disney Plus will cost $9.99 (New Zealand) a month or $99.99 (New Zealand) for an annual subscription.
Disney Plus will expand to every major market worldwide within two years after its launch.
If Disney Plus is really going to be available in NZ for $10/month, Sky can kiss its future goodbye. Netflix probably as well.

The problem is, if I look any every SVOD and Sky, I see stuff I want. I dont mean yay thats 4000 misuse ill watch next week, but each as anywhere from some, a lot or a LOT and amongst that each has some nice stuff. So either I buy all of them or I choose to go without stuff I would enjoy, $10 a month isn't much at all, its chicken feed, but when you say that 12 times, and some are more than $10 it all adds up.
Linear to OD hasn't helped much, just caused me more individual bills and more cost.

Maybe binge-watching is the answer? Subscribe to one or two at a time and switch when your binge is complete
Yes thats an option, but its good to check out what's on when you want to rather than have to plan and manage it all, especially if its not just TV series that you watch.
First world problem! I can always assess it to cups of expensive coffee to make it sound cheaper :-)

I must respectfully disagree. Of course different people have different viewing tastes and for some, what you say will undoubtedly be true. Since dumping Sky, which I honestly don't miss even a little bit, I have discovered a whole universe of fantastic entertainment, information, enlightenment, and distraction. At the moment I have no paid subscriptions at all. I can't even get to all the free stuff I want to view. YouTube is way, way more than just pop videos and weird 'influencers'. There is also an enormous amount of very high quality cultural, documentary and news material that I am constantly amazed to find. ABC, SBS and BBC are also filled with excellent programming. Arte has tons of free culture and music. So do European FTA channels. Zattoo is good for ITV and other programming. There are several free film channels if you can live with the ads or record to get around them. Also much American FTA. An annual delight for us is the marvelous Concert de Paris. There are many other things like this that pop up from time to time. Anyone who depends on Netflix or Amazon Prime for their viewing pleasure, is not only paying too much, but also getting much too little.

Is that on YouTube TV? Id need a DNS4ME type service? Zattoo is in Germany and Switzerland only. Id need to keep changing the server? And If I watch via ATV4 I can add DNS4ME onto that yet id need to turn it off to watch NZ based TV? (Not bitching just asking :-)
You do need a VPN or DNS proxy for some things, not everything. I'm not talking about YouTube TV. It would already take me many lifetimes just to get through the stuff on regular YouTube. DNS4ME is really easy to use for standard stuff like Zattoo. You don't need to keep changing servers unless you want to access a handful of sites that conflict with each other (usually Australia and America). Then you can set up different profiles and switch between them as necessary. It usually shouldn't be. You don't need to disable DNS4ME to watch NZ TV. It simply passes through everything it isn't told to redirect. You do need to set it for on demand but that is not a biggie.
I use Kodi for all my viewing. There are plenty of other options but I am used to Kodi and it works fairly well for me. you can watch all NZ and Australian and some other FTA channels on IPTV using the list provided here by @Apsattv. You can also record but have to install some added stuff for that. I have never bothered. There are separate add-ons for on demand (TVNZ and 3 Now). You need to invest a little effort to set it up but it is not too difficult.

I really don't understand why services like Zatto and Filmon haven't been closed down by the major broadcasters like the BBC. They are obviously infringing copyright.
Enormously glad they haven't of course.

I guess they have a more realistic view of the actual revenue loss caused by such parallel channels, than those held by other major players
Apparently more people outside the UK watch the BBC channels thru Zattoo etc than the total of viewers of all forms in the UK.
Not only is the BBC itself involved but what about studios etc who provide movies and TV series under licensing agreements? I bet if somebody cracked Netflix or Amazon Prime and started re-broadcasting their content for free they would come down on them like a ton of bricks.
The BBC channels aren't even encrypted like ITV and Channel 4 are.
European countries can carry each other's FTA channels. When I lived there this was done on cable. I imagine something of the same applies to streaming. The channels on Zattoo are all FTA in their countries of origin. As far as I know, nothing there is pirated.
