Rotten Tomatoes have finally realised that the Audience score is most likely closer to how most people rate a movie, and they have introduced a new award just for the Audience scores; Its called Verified Hot!.

The Verified Hot status and badge is an elevated designation honoring the highest verified reviewed theatrical films by fans. Verified Hot is composed of Verified Ratings and Reviews from the Popcornmeter score and will be applied to all eligible first run movies released on or after May 2019. To qualify, a movie must meet the following achievement qualifications:

Have a Verified Audience Score of 90% or higher.
Have a minimum of 500+ Verified Ratings for films in wide release.
Have a minimum of 250+ Verified Ratings for films in limited release.
Repertory titles (such as classic rereleases) are also eligible for the designation.

If a film should slip back to less than 80% it will lose its Verified Hot rating.

If Sony are going to continue their silly game of not including Dolby Atmos tracks on iTunes/Apple TV releases, I won't be purchasing Bad Boys 4 when it drops to $19.99.

I don't love the series enough to buy it on physical media, so until Sony come to their senses and upgrade it along with other titles recently released, they can go take a hike.

I have purchased the first three films in the franchise on iTunes/Apple TV and they all have Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos on board; so why has Sony apparently, come to an agreement with another streaming service (Vudu US), to give them exclusivity?

If it's true and they have agreed to a deal with Vudu, why exclude Australia/New Zealand users? Vudu doesn't stream in New Zealand, so its not going to affect them either way. 🤬

Streaming sites sure know how to alienate users.

I don't know what has changed, but Bad Boys: Ride or Die is now available with Dolby Atmos audio. Hopefully they will upgrade the other titles also.
