Even though Apple are trying to push everyone to the Apple TV + app, I have been successfully using iTunes on my Windows Desktop Computer to buy movies from the store. I can also have a wish list which appears to be unavailable on the app. Yesterday, I tried to access the Apple Store through iTunes and I got a blank screen. I thought that It was just a glitch, but I tried again today and the same blank screen appeared. I can access my library and unwatched lists, but it looks as though I will have to use the app for future purchases and rentals.

Don’t know if of any help, but can put movies wish to purchase/rent sometime  on the up next list.

Just press the + which is on top right of my phone when selected movie of interest. Can press tick symbol it changes to when added to remove.

Or just use wish list on cheap charts.

I can never understand why people Pre-order films from the Apple Store. Its not like Pre-ordering physical media, especially SteelBooks, that may sell out. If you can wait for a week or two, the price will reduce by $5-$10.
