I am suddenly getting a Netflix error message requesting me to re login in. This worked fine for months but last couple of weeks every time I start up Chrome and go to Netflix it says oops something wrong please logout and re log in. Once I do that everything is fine until the next time I start up Chrome and go ro Netflix. Anyone else experiencing this?

Have you tried clearing the browser cache?

Netflix NZ or from overseas?

I did have some experience where the Smart TV (LG) was often logged out. This started a month or two ago, and seemed to get worse up to the point where it failed completely (would login but not play anything). Last week I ended up removing the app, 'logging all devices out' from the web interface and reinstalling and it seems to have fixed it. Getting a fresh start seems to be the key so clearing the browser cache as suggested above sounds like a good idea.

Time to ditch Chrome, I use Internet Explorer and Netflix works very well, no issues since.

NO thanks IE is a dog. I think I have figured out what is wrong. Because I am basically lazy I made a shortcut that opened up Chrome and went off to Netflix. That sees to be the problem. If I open Chrome manually and then go to Netflix it seems to work fine, but when I use the shortcut it fails to recognise my previous login and requests me to re sign in.
I am continuing to test

Are they sticking a session ID in the URL or something that you are ending up with in your shortcut?

Nope URL is just netflix.com.browse
I haven't tested using Chrome direct long enough to be sure it has solved the problem. It's a real pain.

x 2, I use I.E. for all my streaming stuff and don't seem to have any issues.
Chrome had some updates a few weeks ago which have caused some issues too. You can't zoom in / out onto a lot of images that you use to for example.
The latest bookmark saga hasn't added to Chrome's reputation either.
