Hi all

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to temporally disable Unotelly without removing the DNS settings?

The reason I ask is so I can get the NZ sites to work properly.

Thanks

Depends on device and how you have unotelly set up inthe first place?

If you have unotelly set up on your router, and you're using a PC/tablet/apple tv then just turn off automatic dns and set the dns of your ISP.

If you're using unotelly set up on your device you'll have to change it to your ISPs.

One way you can permanently get nz services to work is to use dnsmasq on your router (if possible) and force the nz services to use your isps dns.  Something like this: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/davidcole/8351

Try going into the Unotelly region picker (accessed via the Dynamo menu on their site) and changing it to New Zealand. If it's a particular site you want to tweak, the Unotelly app has a more detailed control panel.

If you're using OS X then you can create a new "location" for Unotelly, and can switch from the Apple menu. This is probably also possible with Windows, but I have no idea how to set it up :)

For windows I use dnsjumper which allows you to easy switch between dns services or to default.

I have tried that but TVNZ or 3 on Demand wont work, interestingly I can stream the live channels off sky go but the on demand stuff wont work with Unotelly only.

I am trying to sort this out on my HTPC running Windows 10.

I've stopped using Unotelly, they seemed to have removed a lot of their options and services in light of the Netflix/Paypal debacle.....  no email or anything to advise of such either. Only noticed because TVNZ etc stopped working with Unotelly enabled.

They're even gone from Twitter.
