Have taken possession of an Android TV Box today but cannot get the Samsung TV to recognize it.

Have tried all four HDMI Ports no luck, the TV recognizes that something is there but I cannot get a picture.

TV is a Samsung UHDTV around a 2014 model.

We are on 4g Wireless Internet averaging between 30 to 50 mbps so speed shouldn't be the issue.

Have you tried a different hdmi cable? and a complete power off plug pull of the tv set?

Does it light up?

It might be set to a mode that the tv doesnt support?

What device is it?

it could be the HDMI cord, if the box is 4k the cable might not be up to spec.

Need a process of elimination. TV - try a different HDMI port or another cable as suggested above.

Try using another monitor or other device if you have to see if it works on something else.

Often a cable caused the symptom above.
