One of my team members from work called me earlier this afternoon. Her daughter attends Paptoetoe high school. While not identified as a close contact and therefore not requiring a test she will be working from home the next couple of days or until advised otherwise.

It will be interesting just how many people at my work place this may affect. As a larger employer based in Wiri/Manakau its likely we have many more families linked to the school or the Pak n Save in Manakau.

Just the news we want 6 days out from our wedding. I guess at least it gives us time to get in touch with the various suppliers to make a plan rather than it being the night before.

Keep in mind before thinking too far ahead, she's also the one to make the call for mandatory masks and any loose wfh requirements (which I expect may happen here unless there has been more positives rushed through today)

AirNZ has ceased food services for a few days at least. (Didn't they laugh at Souxie suggesting that previously)

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Just happened now. Caught me by surprise as hadn't read above in thread and thought things were all good.

An oppo in the house did too. Truncated message however

Assume it's a core update mod to add it.

My oldish Moto G5S+ on android 8 had an American accented voice read the message. So there's at least 1 that believes Covid is real.
