A brilliant (but long) read about aerosol vs droplet transmission and why it took us so long to accept what was happening

That is a really well written, logical and understandable piece. Thanks for finding it.

It appears the Sydney couple who got positive for COVID might have caught it from a US-based visitor.
Someone skipped isolation.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Nothing in that article about anyone skipping isolation (& similarly nothing yet on the ABC or 7News websites). All still suggesting a possible missing link.
But the situation is looking positive - now 3 clear days with no local cases.
NSW update still ~an hour off but Berejiklian has already indicated it will contain nothing of concern (4 clear days).

I though the current theory was that there was one/maybe two "mystery links" between the MIQ case and the Sydney Couple, likely to have been staff at the MIQ location-
Sydney bubble resuming soon iirc

Unless he consented to be named, that's a spectacular breach of privacy by the AFR naming the man, when AFAICT he did nothing wrong.
I hope he sues.

Whoever told them probably doesn't have newspaper circulation all over New Zealand. People who attend court hearings can learn the identities of suspects with name suppression, and that is fine as long as they don't shout the information from the rooftops. The Herald is shouting. The one who told them is not.
Plesse igmore amd axxept applogies in adbance fir anu typos

So what? You can't sue someone for shouting.
That depends on what they say!
