Conspiracy theories about the "laboratory" origin of C-19 are politically-driven and unprovable / without evidence.
I am waiting for Hipkins to go into political damage control and Ardern to pull a Helen Clarke and go away for a bit. I bet the Beehive phones are running hot with CEOs crying please don't lock down and place open the bubble.
At least I have finally had my first vaccine shot only two months late. I guess "we have got this" err screwed up.

COVID-19: Contact tracing locations of interest | Ministry of Health NZ
So he was here till Monday yet we only have Saturdays list of locations? GG MOH
They need to advise locations before the information is made public - this is because of the outrage last year when they were making this public before advising the shop / cafe.
It's a situation of not really being able to win - if the MoH release it immediately again there will be backlash, and if they wait (like they are) there is backlash.

But amusing to poke fun at. 😀
I am disappointed though I had my first shot and spoons, keys and kittens are not sticking to me

I don't have a phone, I can't scan, most places have stopped putting out sign-in sheets.
Can you explain why not?
At least to have a device that would allow you to fulfil your responsibility to scan the QR codes. For your own protection as well as others.
No need to use as a phone.
A basic Android phone including sim can cost a lot less than $100. Two examples below (<$40 and <$70).

They have Wifi so should require minimal mobile data use. The phone doesn’t need to be connected to data to scan QR codes or use Bluetooth tracing (or for adding manual entries).

How many flights were departing from Wellington to other places when they were at the airport?
In the case of the departure time it would have been pretty minimal.
A weekday morning? Hardly minimal with about 15 flights departing in the hour prior to his departure

You left out 'testing stations over-run/busy' by people lining up who have not been feeling well and thought nothing of it until now
/edit - about a minute later on the Herald update feed
3 more locations added. Turns out they've had 1 shot
Queues forming at testing site A small queue of cars has formed at the Taranaki St testing station in Wellington. A worker at the testing station said it was only accepting those with appointments.
People should call 0800 714200 to make an appointment.

Do you carry a first-aid kit on your person? If not, can you explain why? It would allow you to fulfil your responsibility to others who might get injured. For your own protection as well as others.
I don’t need to explain myself to you or anyone else. It is my choice. You might better ask why so many businesses are failing in their responsibility to put out sign-in sheets for people who don’t have phones. During the first Covid wave these were everywhere and I used them. Now they are hard to find.
I don’t have a phone. I don’t use a phone. I don’t want a phone. I do keep a diary of my movements.

This is an awesome take for a person who is posting on a website called Geekzone, but it's 100% fair enough. There will be many out there who have a distrust of big data who are similarly inclined towards not owning phones too.
The fact sign-in sheets are disappearing is a real issue tbh, although from my experience out at Hobsonville Pt, barely anyone signed in at the Saturday markets even when we were fresh out of higher alert levels - although I suspect that's a bit of upper-middle-class invincibility than anything else, and unlikely to be related to phone ownership.
Was at work for 20 minutes this morning then sent home due to a number of people on my floor having been at one of the locations of interest. Wasn't there personally but sit near the people who were so being treated as the same. That was worth the train ride in.

...
There's a global pandemic still lapping on our shores with increasingly virulent virus strains.
Not patching someone with a minor injury that could be helped with a first aid kit is vastly different to not helping to limit potential spread of the virus here and reducing the risk of another regional lockdown.
I'll be the first to critisise people who don't use the tracer app because they can't be bothered, but it's important to remember that not everyone has the skills required to use the technology.

Oddly we do carry a first aid kit in our vehicles and in the back pack I go out with. We are also going to buy a defib unit for our home and office.
Using the App means that you will be alerted to a risk quicker and can then mitigate the risk for others but it is a personal choice and one you don't need to justify to anyone but yourself,
Emergency Cabinet meeting underway.
Hard to assume anything else than an alert level change for Welly
