I know its not nice to say but hopefully BT catches covid, makes a huge song and dance about how he is fighting it with ivermectin or some other such useless garbage then either dies or becomes an invalid.

Might enlighten a few that think their imaginary friend will make it all better.

He wants lockdown to end, so he does this that will extend it. Not a leader, but a user.

Tithes rock, apparently.

I though that it was a Tamaki march run under the banner of "Jesus Loves Me - This I Know - Donate to Me - Covid Will Go"

Kind of different from NSW and Vic. He should be locked up - no point giving him a fine as sadly the mainly poor and uneducated members of his cult will end up paying any fine the courts could throw at him.

And he wore a mask, thats ironic. He knows its a threat, so he sends the believers to the sword.

Almost 110,000 covid cases in Australia now. Over 80,000 recovered. Or maybe a third of them have at least one symptom of long covid?

Anyway I think they might reach 200,000 by the end of this Month.

I know its only theoretically, and allowing for pre lockdown spread, but 14 days fixes this, so allow 21 days. We can land on comets, but we cant stay home for 14 days without a beer or a catchup.

They will probably get more cases in the next two days than NZ has in the past 18 months. Being a weekend maybe it will take three days.

It really brasses me off. Their response.

In the words of Vice Grip Garage - "all of it".

TBH, unless there's very high vaccination rates in the >12 age group, then it's probably pointless.  Very few small kids get seriously sick, and the selfish antivax dickheads in the 18-50 age group will be 100% sure of acting as a reservoir of infection - they will be the killers in NZ's endemic covid rollout.

I agree, but isnt the issue that these kids spread it at school, and hence to other parents?

Yes it is, but if there's +25% of 18-50 years olds unvaxxed - then they'll be an unavoidable source of infection for the rest of us, so my point was having kids unvaxxed probably won't increase the risk to the rest of us if the person sitting next to you in the office, serving your lunch, or waxing your hairy bits refuses to do the right thing.

Yes he should be locked up. It’s beyond me why that hasn’t happened.

I guess the police didn’t break it up as they didn’t want a riot. Unfortunately it creates a bit “what about” example for people who don’t want to follow the rules.

This bothers me and is really testing my patience with how little we actually enforce the law on these COVID breaches when it takes shape in the form of the masses. Up to 2000 people was a lot and Brian Tamaki was well and truly leading it so why in the bloody hell isn't he copping the responsibility nor getting the book thrown at them? It was also fully supported by gangs as well. I don't get why we're so complacent on this?
