Govt gives up on 90%. We all know that, we don't need a public link, so what was your point? Its good or its bad?

It had loads of graphs in case people were interested in the graphs
Govt gives up is your headline. So unless it belongs in the political thread, you need to post why that is good or it's bad.
My take is base common sense. 90% was an unoffical target. It won't be met due to the number of anti vaxxers, so do we want to hold on for 4 months to persuade them to get on board, or do we accept that anti vaxxers wont change, this is the most that NZ can achieve, so we will run with that. Given that the Vaccine Cert is good for vaxxed people, and the unvaxxed have chosen to stay in an effective level 4
Oblivian: According to Facebook land. 4% of medical workforce
What did they use until now to treat diseases? Witchcraft? Thoughts and prayers?

Does anyone know where I can find the Covid Protection Framework? I've only been able to track down the simplified stuff at https://covid19.govt.nz/alert-levels-and-updates/covid-19-protection/ which doesn't have enough detail. The cynic in me suspects they haven't actually written it yet...
Something like this? Getting ready for the COVID-19 Protection Framework — business.govt.nz
Unfortunately that one's lacking too. Specifically I'm trying to figure out whether our work Christmas party can go ahead (it's on our premises and outside, but would likely have more than 100 people). All the details I can find are for public events, not staff events, and I can't find anything on legislation.govt.nz around it either.
Ultimately it's not my problem personally as I'm not one of the organisers, but I don't want to waste time on a costume if it ends up being cancelled...
There is nothing online anywhere giving detailed requirements - I too came to the conclusion they they haven't written it yet too.
There are plenty of events that may or may not be allowed, and likewise still no real guidance for places that have to scan codes. I don't think a lot of places realise the burden and extra costs that will be associated with this - that's not a bad thing, it's just that it's hard to plan when you really don't know the full details.
Thanks. I'm sure it'll turn up in the next week or two. Pity we can't plan ahead though :(
tdgeek: Im not sure what % that is, but wow. 1300 health workers are anti vax.
Oblivian: According to Facebook land. 4% of medical workforce
The stuff article says "Meanwhile, more than 80,000 district health board workers have been vaccinated"; so 1,300 out of 80,000 is just over 1.5%
Personally, I think "Over 98% DHB staff vaccinated" is a much more positive headline...
Batman: So australia cases were going up and up, and as soon as they open up they all go down. How is that possible

Once places open up the testing rate drops?
