I think the 'intensive care' category appears, if there is one at this table

https://www.health.govt.nz/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-data-and-statistics/covid-19-current-cases#case-details

Though per normal disclaimer

to protect privacy, only limited data will be provided about hospitalisations.

2,500 cases today... and an organised running event in Hobsonville Pt with the walkway totally dominated, and people not masked up walking around the market/cafe area.

It's like a totally different country to six months ago.

They aren't publishing daily testing numbers in Auckland, But from this page , roughly 50% of the national testing was happening in the 3 Ak DHBs in the week before last....

https://www.health.govt.nz/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-data-and-statistics/testing-covid-19.

If that is still holding,  then from today's 28K tests ,  roughly 14K Auckland tests resulted in 1800 cases.. thats 13% positivity.... The rest of the country is about 5%....

Queues up the wazoo at the CHC airport testing station again today.

Portaloos brought in it's that long..

It's come out that suddenly we have at least 5 schools with positive students. So there will be some panic.

Paul1977: Where can I find the number of cases in ICU? I can only find numbers in hospital, but doesn’t break it down further.

The MoH Covid press releases are here: https://www.health.govt.nz/news-media/news-items
Today:

Hospitalisations

  • Cases in hospital: total number 100: Northland: 1; North Shore: 10; Middlemore: 30; Auckland: 45; Rotorua: 1; Tauranga: 1; Waikato: 11; Tairāwhiti: 1
  • Average age of current hospitalisations: 56
  • Cases in ICU or HDU: 0

Yesterday:
Cases in ICU or HDU: 0

So nobody in ICU/HDU yesterday or today 👍

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

The business I work for (construction) has had numerous companies offer us RATs for sale. I’ve never actually bothered to look at pricing or origin yet.

May have a look tomorrow but from all the emails I get there are plenty available for sale to businesses.

Still very very early in the outbreak. Those who tested positive today may take weeks before failing to recover and getting worse, before needing hospital or ICU care. Some people seem to spend months in ICU. So we don't want to be lulled into a false sense of security as we only need to look at Oz to see how numbers will go.

More like those who tested positive today, are already likely a week delayed in getting results... (Did you not catch the news last 24hrs)

Process/advising of ~26k/day.
Rolling average of 29k tests a day

Treading water finished a few weeks back. Swallowing water now. So rapids are now going out to the testing stations to take some of the load away due to the 5-6 day result average.
