quickymart:

More on this so-called "support" person who hijacked the meeting between the parents and the doctors:

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/480317/vaccinated-donor-blood-parents-meeting-with-doctors-hijacked-by-anti-vax-support-person

Just speculating here but yesterday after the judgement, Liz Gunn was quoted as saying she had been trespassed from Starship for the next 48 hours.

If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/donor-blood-battle-lawyer-for-the-parents-of-baby-w-announces-no-appeal-in-guardianship-case/NH5DHZRRUFB65I7RWLMSXPTEAA/

The lawyer for the parents, Sue Grey, and spokesperson and former TV Host Liz Gunn said in a social media post that the team had considered an appeal and were very grateful for those who have generously shared their expertise on this.

“Our conclusion is that there is no time to appeal due to the court giving its decision at the close of business yesterday and the complex process where a stay is required.

“The appeal court is accordingly clearly not a suitable forum to resolve this important matter for BabyW.”

You've had nearly every single argument you tried to make weighed up against educated and considered medical opinion and they have been found wanting. I don't think time is really the issue here.

If you are looking for information on Coronavirus, COVID-19 please visit this website.

Every few years, a new type of coronavirus that normally doesn't infect humans mutates in China and infects humans ... have lost count how many now, but makes me think something fishy is going on there ... or maybe just the sheer population of livestock there mixed with massive population of humans? Anyway, it won't be funny if one day it causes a real pandemic.

Nope the next "big thing" will be all the viruses/pathogens that have been sitting in cold storage in the permafrost for tens of thousands of years being defrosted due to climate change .

And all the other gullible fools that probably donated.

The ONLY winner in this is

The child who will receive actual healthcare

Which is the main thing, although it grates with me that Liz will have probably grifted something out of this whole ordeal and I bet little to none of it will go towards the parents.

Found this article last night: https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/coronavirus/128296235/just-asking-questions-how-lawyer-sue-grey-became-the-hero-of-new-zealands-conspiracy-underbelly

There’s also increased chatter about Three Waters, about He Puapua, about Marsden Point. There’s only one question left: What cause will Sue Grey pick next? Looks like she (unfortunately) found her cause in all this. What next? Disbarment?

extension of court order from order for blood transfusion to order for surgery and all preparatory tests

maybe need to remove parents as next step

i guess with every move the parents make a new legal ruling would follow, hopefully they don't end up losing permanent custody of the child

The stones on these people.

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/baby-blood-donor-battle-judge-orders-parents-to-stop-blocking-doctors/X3RAG2EOZRFCJPVNMW3P737MEE/

Tonight Justice Ian Gault made an emergency order after the baby’s parents allegedly told the doctors trying to prepare the baby for surgery tomorrow morning; “You touch our child and we will press criminal charges against you”.

Your child is not a prop for your insane hobby horse crusade. Let them get medical care that even you agree they need.

God, so much wasting of time.

Poor kid, I'd hate to have parents like these clowns.

Also, I see they talked to Alex Jones - of all people - about the whole saga. Some people just need to learn to...words fail me.

Perhaps it is time to give these people what they want.

Remove them from the NZ health system as "we are no longer able to help"

Same with sovereign citizens, drop them home, tell them this side of the fence is New Zealand. We do not have diplomatic relationship with your sovereign territory but we will accept any internationally recognised passport to allow you into the country. As a foreign citizen you will be required to pay full price for all NZ supplied services. You will as a result no longer pay NZ taxes.

Any attempt you Mae to invade NZ will be met with deadly force.

That sounds like a really good idea, pity it doesn't work like that though.

The pressure these doctors are under now. Imagine if anything goes wrong.

These parents are using their child to blackmail the doctors. The ideal response would be to just say sorry, we can't help your baby under these circumstances, here, you can have it back, take it home, good luck. Of course they can't do that and the court has come up with the best solution, but the parents really need to back off and get some perspective. Their baby's life matters more than getting their way. Unless they think it doesn't.

Doctors are bound to help the baby. Unfortunally the douchebags know this.
