I see more confusion with it being a time like this as everybody seems to think it starts today. Including my kids who keep asking if they can go to MacDonalds today!

Really? Doesn't people understand the 24 hour system? I can understand kids, but I think adults would know it.

Telling time is very simple skill to learn. There are even devices to help that one can even wear

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

@surfisup1000: Meh, never realised that level 3 started today

It didn't. It starts tonight at 23:59.

If the traffic in my street is anything to go by I think the original post was missing a sarcasm emoji 😉

Remember some people are allowed to go to their offices/place of work to prepare for reopening.

To be honest I did not know it came into affect at 11:59pm tonight. I knew it was today though just was not sure when.

I recommend you visit the official website here if you have been living under a rock and need more information about what's happening for the last four weeks in this country.

It is so busy here. Traffic , surfers , people visiting the beach, parked up cars. There is even a little traffic jam at the roundabout.

People seem to be thinking it is level 3 now.

Don’t blame them in some ways. Maybe people setting up for business tomorrow too?

A possibility. People are allowed to get into offices, place of work to clean, install equipment needed for contactless operation, etc.

There is a reason why the government keeps on quoting 11:59PM and/or 23:59 as it should remove all doubt about when it is supposed to occur. As saying 12:00 means there may be ambiguity.

But even with this clear information remaining uninformed is possible.

Just listening to the 1pm update. I echoed PM Jacinda Ardern's words and thanks to Dr Bloomfield. The man deserves a beer.

Rules, rules, rules ..... why on earth do we need rules that try to tell us what we can and can't do.

The Level 3 Rules are the "Health Act (COVID-19 Alert Level 3) Order 2020", here:http://www.legislation.govt.nz/regulation/public/2020/0069/latest/whole.html

Dr Bloomfield's face, the eyes moving. The silence that fell on the room when the bleach question came. Brilliant!
