@andrewchen: Thanks for clarifying that for anyone confused by Hilary's comment.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

I certainly wasn't one of the ones in the tweet panicked by it :) But figured as we had somewhat of a side stepped link to the right places, it'd be a good spot to bring it up for notice/clarification.

Appreciate that we have a geek focused link off the side btw. Being able to give workable feedback beats facepalming at the vague ones people on the store come up with.

Just saw that the iOS 14.5 Public Beta 2 just dropped today, and I've just installed it and the NZ Covid Tracer App is now back to working. I guess the React Native stuff was fixed up here, so it is working for me now.

The iOs 14.5 Beta 2 has also fixed my problem with the NZ Covid-19 Tracer App. So it is back to usual routine The Rippl app did give me a way to scan when I couldn't use the Ministry app although it was different with the scan in and then log out approach.

My history in the NZ Covid-19 Tracer App is all still there so all good.

FineWine:

COVID-19 Tracing App idea

Location based list of Testing Stations with operating times

Along with the above which I had posted in 2019 Novel Coronavirus Covid-19 Discussion and should of also posted here, I have another suggestion for the app:

On receiving the vaccination you scan a QR code which indicates you have been vaccinated. So if you later become a close contact the QR data base can then prioritise tracing a bit better to those that have not been vaccinated.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Subtle update released (last week?)

After the 7sharp debacle button now says 'okay' not finished

And apparently some underlaying BT changes. Might stop the checking keys on more units?

A lot of thanks comments indicate iphone 6 may now be on and supporting BT too

I think maybe two weeks ago - yeah the button is now Okay on Android devices too (has been on iOS for a bit longer), and updated to ENFv2 which supports iOS 12.5+ which means yes, iPhone 6s now supported. Apparently there is another more major update being beta tested at the moment.

The update that changed finish to okay was mid February for iOS.

Appears I'm just slow to see the icon in the list. Something prompted me to manually check, but I now see it was 19th

Helpful for peeps to post updates incase there are others experiencing issues that may have been addressed but don't always auto-update from store ;)

What I have noticed on my 86y BnL Oppo is that he has to swipe upwards to get the 'Okay' button which he keeps forgetting to do.

Had anyone figured out why there is a delay when first opening the app. It seems that Health wanted us to see the logo. It doesn't always do it unless the app hasnt been used for a while
