Can really see the wisdom in Tesla's over-the-air updating - If Nissan had this in place that would potentially be a trivial overnight fix.
But then its actually appalling that Tesla had to release a software update for something as fundemental as the braking system - that should always be rock solid before a car is released to market - It might be ok to upgrade/tweak navigation systems or in car entertainment system etc - but not the core controls on a car.
Sound like excellent news for Nissan Leaf owners though - the 30kwh batteries are not duds - just a software issue - Makes the Leaf well worth thinking about again.
