Elon going in for the KO vs Chinese EVs.

I expect prices to keep dropping due to the economic slow down and an oversupply from Tesla Shanghai.

Good times.

Is Tesla just messing with Kia? Every time Kia rises the price of the EV6, Tesla comes along and either introduces the Y under the recap value or does a price drop 😂

Feeling even more basic in my white Model Y now :D Jealous of the people that now can get the red Model Y under the rebate cap. Good on Tesla for reducing prices!

Do you know what the answer is to make your car stand out from the crowd of whiteness? Pillar delete, for sure. It's the one colour for which this (and black wheels/wheel covers) really does make a huge difference to the look of the car - I reckon it looks awesome! (Would certainly do it if I had a white Y; does SFA for a blue like mine).

Tried to delete the pillars yesterday : TeslaModelY | Tesla model, Tesla, Airplane car

It would make it stand out, for sure. It does help that I have custom plates and black wheel covers.

But yeah nah. Don't like the look of the pillar delete. Would be interesting to put another colour on them and the mirrors though, something like orange... ;)

Def 2K cheaper for the MY according to my basic price tracking spreadsheet from mid Jan I started haha but no change for the performance price.

The only price that's really worth tracking is the one I've highlighted in the image as none of the other fees (which I don't think have changed?) are avoidable. And, yep, they have dropped by $2k, as it's obvious by the point I made - the red is now well under the cap whereas before this latest drop it was a bit over (I think this is also discussed IRT the last drop a few pages back).

No luck getting an answer to a question on a Netflix-related thread, so thought I'd try my luck here; can anyone please confirm the situation re the impact of Netflix's sharing accounts crackdown on watching in a Tesla in NZ, given the AU SIM? Thanks.

jonathan18:
michaelmurfy: What is worse is under the new policy I found out that it fully blocks my Tesla from accessing my Netflix account as it isn't at home (it operates off an AU sim)

Just to confirm my understanding on this - I assume this will affect all Tesla owners, and that it's not yet impacting my ability to watch Netflix in the car is just because Netflix hasn't enabled its new policy on our account?

Netflix password sharing policy does not apply to Tesla vehicles - Drive Tesla (driveteslacanada.ca)

Thanks, have read this but I read Michael Murphy's post as quoted above as indicating the use of an Aus SIM caused problems. Is this not the case? Ta.

I assume if Netflix sees the Tesla browser agent then it will add an exception (which may also mean you could spoof the Tesla agent on your browser while "travelling" to avoid the block on a PC)

should be location based IP rather than sim origin
