Hammerer:

I'm no supporter of Mike Hosking

<snipped - a couple of paragraphs of support for Mike Hosking>

OK - let's be constructive about it:

Mike, to protect yourself from future "own goals" like this please stop boasting about how good you think you are, if it turns to custard anyway and you're the sensitive type, please ask your wife to restrain herself from initiating ridicule by mocking you on social media. If the car did indeed suffer sudden brake failure then consider taking some lessons in basic preventative car maintenance, if not then take a good hard look at how you drive an ordinary road car on the track.  If you have a team doing race prep work on your car for you, and if you crash out, please think very carefully how it might impact on them before publicly announcing that "mechanical failure" was the reason you crashed out.

Yeah, I can see it now. This @Fred99 account really hates Mike Hosking for some reason. The comments are pretty personal as if Mike has personally offended. I can't really imagine myself being so offended by a media personality that I have to try and insult them at every turn.

LOL "This Fred99 Account" - get a life - I'm a person, not some kind of bot.

It's a bit hard to criticise a person without it being seen as "pretty personal" by admirers/fans.
