The point I was trying to make (but didn't do very well) is that there are so many instances where the temporary speed limit isn't justified, that drivers get frustrated and complacent, start ignoring them thus increasing the risk at locations where the speed reduction is necessary and warranted.
Same could be said for reduced speed zones, eg the 80kph zone in the video earlier where the Audi driver felt open road entitled.
If that was indeed an 80kph zone I can understand why the Audi eventually got impatient and overtook at the first opportunity. The driver in that video was doing 65kph. I'm always suspicious of dashcam footage that has been edited from the standard 1 minute increments.
Granted, but that piece of road does seem to confuse many as to whether it's 60 or 100. Along with the North-Western Motorway.
