Finally decided I will get myself something nice for the summer, but all the convertables seem to be styled for woman.

MR-S and MX5 are clearly ladies cars, what else is there that looks decent and isnt a FWD nanna wagon thing? Not really wanting to spend too much or get something with european servicing costs.

S2000 looks promising but a little over current budget based on a trademe search, a porsche, no thanks....

What is wrong with an MX5? I think they can look great. 350Z roadster maybe. I like the Z4 as well. For the love of all that is good, don't buy an MGF.

mx5 is all bubble looking, micra is something for people that cant drive. An old MR2 looks like quite a nice summer car. But most seem to have been molested by boy racers with stupid stuff.

I am assuming the MGF breaks all the time because its an MG but is there any other reason?

The chrysler crossfire looks nice, but above what I really want to spend at the moment.

Oh for goodness sake...
It's 2014 not 1955.
Who really cares what you drive anyway?

Does it really matter given the loss in manliness that comes from working in IT? wink

What about a series 1 Landrover? Bound to be one sitting in a Cocky's shed somewhere. Once you clean the bird crap off it, it would provide the prefect form of manly summer transport :-)
