Just wondering what would be your top ten car accessories (must haves) and why?.
it's all your opinion so anything is fair game
 Mine would have to be..

1. Radar Detector (it's nice to know where the five 0 is)
2. GPS Sat Nav (Real handing if you don't don't where your going)
3. No Vac Deodorizer  (To keep Car smelling Clean and free of Bad odors)
4. Portable Jump Starter (handy if you get a flat battery out the middle of no where. Also charges small portage devices EG: gps, mp3 players, mobile phones)
5. Tow rope (in case you get stuck)
6. First Aid kit (we all know what they are for a boo boo)
7. Car jack (in case you get a flat)
8.  And the tools to get a Tire off
9. floor mats
10. Rechargeable Touch.

Firstly, accessories is IES not YS;)

And, I do not think I would call 7-9 accessories. Maybe 9, but if you do not cary a spare, then 7-8 are worthless.

I would add;
a general small tool kit
a cigarette to multiple cigarette and usb hub.

In Christchurch you'd need to add (in no particular order):

1) A dozen Woodstock
2) Obnoxiously loud stereo with poorly installed bass in trunk
3) Scantly clad young lady in passenger seat
4) Collection of everyday and special occasion hoodies strewn in back seat
5) Big bore exhaust held on by string/wire/chewing gum
6) Expired WOF/Rego tags creatively altered to look valid
7) Big hole where the springs used to go
8) Scratched up 5th-hand rims with bald tyres
9) Artistic scratches on mismatching body work
10) Over inflated ego (usually hanging out the side window and dragging along the road)

I'm sure more will come to mind.

I'm with vexxxboy, cop holders are essential. If only they made them big enough to hold a water bottle though...

5. Sunglasses holder for visor
6. Coffee (not really an accessory, but part of my driving life and not included with any car that I know of)
7. Tow rope
8. Jump cables (usually for other motorists)
9. Car Seats for the kids
9. Wife...preferably on "mute".

Dont bother, slow down. I was in a cop car once and asked him about the effectiveness of radar detectors and he said they work alright.....after the cop has pinged your speed.

2. GPS Sat Nav (Real handing if you don't don't where your going)
Yes - if you travel a lot to different towns, otherwise buy a map.

3. No Vac Deodorizer  (To keep Car smelling Clean and free of Bad odors)
No idea what this is but if you clean your car regularly then you dont need it.

4. Portable Jump Starter (handy if you get a flat battery out the middle of no where. Also charges small portage devices EG: gps, mp3 players, mobile phones)
Only handy if you are able to keep it charged regularly as you might only need to use it once in a blue moon and if it has been sitting in the car unused for a while chances are the battery in it will be flat.

5. Tow rope (in case you get stuck)
yeah, why not? They are usually cheap enough but hardly and accessory.

6. First Aid kit (we all know what they are for a boo boo)
Yes, definitely

7. Car jack (in case you get a flat)
You need this for a warrant anyway

8.  And the tools to get a TYRE off
see #7

9. floor mats
Yeah these are good idea, rubber ones can get slippery when wet.

10. Rechargeable Touch.
Yes a good idea. I have one of those led torch lights that you shake to charge up, they are pretty weak as a light source but it will suffice and no need for batteries for same reason as #4

I wont argue with you there. I am not a cop and I don't use a radar detector but his logic made sense to me. I can see that a radar detector will work if they turn the radar on and are scanning cars in front of you. Happy Speeding!

1. Car Stereo so you don't have to always talk to passengers
2. USB cigarette adapter + hub, always handy to charge 2x phones in the car, I have a 1A Belkin and it's faster than my official Samsung charger
3. Cellphone dash mount for GPS, music etc
4. Floor mats for messy boots/shoes
5. Jump start kit
6. Tow Rope
7. First aid kit
8. Jack and spare tyre
9. Tint strip and tints to block out suns glare in front while driving
10. One of the little hammer/knife cutting combos :) like PaulB suggested

Bugger, so I did! Thanks

Extras to add:

11) Cool Neon Tubes to help the Police spot you 3 blocks away
12) After market spoiler in case the car ever hits 300kph (assuming the modified RB20 engine doesn't explode first)
