Yep, time out errors on the major ones.

There are down jackets at $100 which is a good buy, but mostly Meh as suggested by others above.

Companies should learn that viral/social campaigns like this actually hurt any future interest by customers.  Think Harvey Norman and their black out sales from a while back, where you had to actually lift stupid tabs to see the price on anything.  You generate this interest and deliver random crap offerings.  Marketing fail.

Note: torpedo7 have more on sale than what shows when you first click through. The whole site is on sale.

Yawn...what a let down. Kinda like the HN sales. Same old deals rehashed with a different marketing strategy. They must think consumers are stupid or something.

I would have put money on the websites crashing.

They probably just feel no need to actually compete on price and do some crazy black Friday style stuff as there are only about two major retailer companies anymore

Fail.

NL/BB sites not going.
Going by the offerings on the Warehouse site, I'm not expecting anything too exciting.

Yesterday DSE had all their S4s listed at $749 on their website (with no mention of an end date for the offer).

Went to WHS this morning to get a price match ($712) and when the guy look on the dse website they were all back to $999, anyone know when they will be dropping the prices again?

Go figure, it's mostly crap!

You'd think they'd have learnt by now not to pull this kind of BS.

mattwnz:

May have to get in early to get the best deals, and hope the website is capable of handling all the visitors.

Yep, what a surprise...

Ask them to match The Warehouse's deal? They're selling the Telecom S4 for $747
