riahon: Hi UnoTellyService, as per advice on this threadI have entered DNS settings directly into the router. All devices working well and connecting to Netflix which is fantastic. I am however very confused about the Channel Options 1 & 2 etc. When I am on my macbook I can go to the unotelly website and choose a different Netflix region which is great, but it also changes the region across all the other devices. Although that can be very useful, I would rather have more control on which device access which region. I assumed the Channels would do that but I am not able to get that control. This was one of the main reasons why I switched from unblock-us (that and the generous discount of course :) ) Are you able to explain how I can do this? Regards Sam

Hello Sam,

To begin with, thank you for using UnoTelly!

The article that Steve98 pointed you (thanks Steve) explains how to do this. With simple words, you should setup a Dynamo enabled UnoTelly server on any device you want your Dynamo settings to have effect on. For another devices, you can setup a non Dynamo UnoTelly server and those devices will be unaffected by your Dynamo settings and will have access only to US Netflix. Please note that to achieve the above, you should setup UnoTelly on your devices individually rarther than setting up our service on a router level. Feel free to let us know if you have any other question.

Best regards,
Kostas

Do we need to cancel/rejoin ?

Yes - cancel so their automatic payment system doesn't renew (take money for) what you've already signed up for when the due date comes round. If your expiry date is not too far out, just go ahead and do it. If your expiry date is a long way out, send their very helpful customer service people a polite email explaining what you'd like to do. More details on the UnoTelly FAQ page here.

Been happily using UnoTelly since this thread begun but today can't seem to access some sites such as telecom.co.nz and chorus.co.nz. Anybody else affected by this? If I go back to using my ISP's DNS I can access them no trouble, and then when I go back to unotelly's DNS no dice, so definitely is that.

Question on the service types

Premium appears to be the base
Then there is UnoVPN.

Does Premium + UnoVPN   Gold?

Trying to figure out the best way to purchase.

Hello mentalinc,

Both Premium & Gold UnoTelly packages offer full access to our catalogue of supported channels: https://www2.unotelly.com/channels . The only difference is that our Gold package includes additional VPN access (UnoVPN) for encrypted browsing.

Please let us know if you have more questions!

had unotelly for a coupel of weeks now.  all  seems good but IMO unblockus is easier
for a few of my devices I had to specify the DNS settings on the device even though it was set at my router, these include
- netgear google tv
- costar vizio google tv
- one another device, blanking on what it was though ( I have so many devices :))

for those devices I didnt need to specify the DNS settings on them, just at the router.

I also couldnt get the chromecast to work (never tried with unblockus though on this one)
