Oh, and there's sod all left in the Takanini shop. Cables, of course, and phone/tablet/kindle covers. A few large shelving units with "sold" on them.

I went in the local in Palmy last Sunday. Still nothing that I'd wanna buy.

Actually, I've never purchased anything from DS since they transformed into consumer electronics.

Anyone recall seeing any generic laptop power adapters at any branches? I wasnt looking for them at the time, but as I was about to go ordering some 24v adapters off aliexpress, I thought that most of the switchable laptop bricks go up to 24 so might be worth looking into instead.

Spent $150 in dicksmith yesterday.  Bought a bunch of cables (all $2-$4, down from $40ish, gotta love 90% off), a universal laptop charger for $20, audio zone switcher for $7, heaps of cat6 network cables for $2 each (theyre usually more than that from china/pbtech).

Guy who sold me the stuff seemed very depressed, and when I asked how much a card reader was (couldnt find the price on the shelf) he just sighed and say "cheap" (it was $5).  kinda felt bad for the guy, and they were very busy (people kept asking about warranties, they had signs posted everywhere explaining warranties too.....)

doesn't do 24v, does

10-16v @ 4.5A
18v @ 4.3A
18.5 - 19V @ 4.1A
19.5V @ 4.1A
20V @ 4.0A
USB 5V @ 2.1A

For $20 I figured it might come in handy one day, didnt need it now.

I've been to several ds and no luck. If someone sees any can they please pick up 3 or 4 and I'll sort you out money plus courier etc.

Henderson is a write-off except for tablet cases HDMI and junk earbuds basically. Few travel adapters. Many people and it smells like someones taken a leak in there.
