Tried the Papakura one which is now closed weekends, guess it's not worth paying staff to work weekends and sell low value items...

richms: I've been to several ds and no luck. If someone sees any can they please pick up 3 or 4 and I'll sort you out money plus courier etc.

Henderson is a write-off except for tablet cases HDMI and junk earbuds basically. Few travel adapters. Many people and it smells like someones taken a leak in there.

there where heaps at Sylvia yesterday, I'm not out that way today so I can't help you out.

Where were they in the shop?

I was there yesterday too and they've moved everything around so I'm guessing they are actually moving stuff this week. Was pretty packed too.

yeah Sylvia was packed, I was at albany, manukau yesterday as well and they were empty.  Takanini today, and they had barely anything left and was pretty empty.

Good time to buy DC adapters though, I have about 5 or so of those now, just in case I need one.

Riccarton is about 2/3rds empty now, has de-shelved and boxed up a load of stock in a closed off area at the back of the store.

Lots of DC adapters on the racks still there - but note that they are all assbackwards with the pins rotated 180' so the body and wire are "up" instead of "down" if in a wall socket - which isn't so good if you have a switched multi-way power board because the body obscures the switch.

So it seemes when you put dick smith pakuranga into google it just shows you botany. I went there and it was baron as well. Got some replacement tips for in ear buds, some figure 8 AC cables with a NZ plug on the other end so I can swap some on stuff from china out for a nicer cable, and a wireless charging back for my note 4 since I am getting sick of the flip cover now I am using it more to take photos and I dont think I will be replacing the note 4 anytime soon.

I wonder if they will be slowly closing stores over the next week, and moving stock to the more busy stores. I can't see them selling all their shop fittings, at least not  the prices they are asking for them, so they will probably end up at going to auction houses.

Bought 2 twin packs of 5m HDMI cables at $9 each at Westgate and a 2 pack of HDMI joiners at $2.50 at Albany today. Have used them to create a 15m cable to go under the house linking the devices at the lounge tv and dining room tv. Was concerned about the the length of the cable but works a treat. Had been using 3 rca cables for composite video/audio previously. Big improvement in picture quality

For good, or just on Monday? I was there last Monday and it was shut, however, it was open the rest of the week.

7AH, 12V batteries are cheaper than I can buy elsewhere though. The one I brought had a date of 070813 though...

Just checked the voltage of the SLA battery. It's currently at 8.02Volts. From my research, this means it appears to be stuffed :-(
