Been looking at RAM, video cards, and sound cards. Everything I've looked at says "out of stock". Seems like a bit of a scam sale to me. I'll be checking back later tomorrow morning to see if these items are magically back in stock in at their usual retail price.

Surprise surprise this appears to be the case, was trying to get a Mi Band 4 during the sale and it was showing out of stock, checked again now and it’s back in stock at regular price. Typical PB Tech tactics!

That is so dodgy. Wish the Commerce Commission would grow a pair and ping them for that. It happens every big 'sale' they have.

They were advertising the Logitech G903 as $100 off at $176, looks like a good deal right. Check this morning and the normal price is $199, check pricespy and on the 1st on November they jumped the price up to $280.

Its still a saving, but nowhere near the $100 they claimed because they inflate the prices weeks before the sales.

Out of stock on nearly all items I was considering, but most are now available again today.
Head office/web store showing 30+ for example.

And I was regretting buying the Mi Band 4 from Ali Express 11.11 sale. No more sorry now.

Got it for NZ$43, still hasn't arrived though.

But I saw PB Techs sale after and thought I should have just waited.

Bought a Green Book HP Elitebook 640 G1 from PBTech for $369 last night. Checked today, it was, as stated last night, $573 so hopefully I got a bargain!

With new SSD, I5 and 8GB RAM should be an improvement on my 8 yr old HP Pavilion DM1 with dead battery. Still works on power so can't complain about it, though.

Black friday isn't until later in the month, 29th?, so this was only PBTech trying to get in ahead of everyone else.

Anything else different about firmware etc?

Wouldn't these be micro usb or usb-c standard anyway?

the normal home uses its own plug so not micro usb. New mini's also have a different power plug too (might be the same as the normal home but with less watts)

So frustrating indeed! They would probably say "We only have reserverd x items for the sale" or something like that. Is this something we can report somewhere?

Downside is delay in getting item sent. Mine is still at "Picking" stage. Mind you, the banking of my money wasn't delayed, though!

Edit:- looks like it is on its way at 1025. Nice one PBTech.
