release notes dont really sound that exciting, ill have a look at it when i get home though.

Yeah read them after I posted. Also slightly disappointed but does seem to fix the channel issue which was discussed at length

Yeah, it kinda seemed like, eh. lackluster improvements.

DFS changes are interesting. might help with the oddities i noted thered.

For the most part, the update seems to bring the feature of DHCP management, eg, enterprise feature, as expected for an enterprise device.

Yes, 2.5.2 was another minor bugfix update. It resolves issues where tech-support was not working from the GUI (was ok from the CLI) and the dashboard of the GUI would occasionally hang/freeze.

firmware 3.0-r33 is out now for the E400

It now has the 40mhz on the 2.4ghz band and also allows for higher power on most of the 5ghz bands

few other fixes there too.

Airtime Fairness seems like a move in the right direction.

Power level changes are listed as only for EU in the changelog.

Minimum unicast rates can now be set too, had to use the config file before and it wouldnt quite go right.

Nice little change, push rates up.

@rwittert im having issues with the 40mhz channel width on the 2.4 band. It setups fine and shows as 40mhz but then i change something else on the radio, the radio resets then goes back to 20mhz. The ap is still showing as being on 40mhz though but any channel analyser i use only shows 20mhz

Hi jase2985

Thanks for the feedback.

Are you happy to log a support case directly with support?

Let me know if that is ok.

Anyone want to buy a couple? (or sell one)

I really need 3 to get nice coverage, and I have a lot of Ubiquiti devices, so it would make sense to switch to Unifi.
