Mine will arrive saturday and due to a pricing error which a shop said they would honor I got them at a price that would make you green with envy! I can't wait!

Anyone want a pair of XM2's? $280 and they are all yours, shipping included non RD. Used for around 10 hours. Box and Original stuff all included.

I am so happy I didn't put any on laybuy at Noels.  I don't think these are likely to get more expensive as black friday and xmas approaches.

It's called a flock and I've never seen sheep rob a pbtech store :)

Of those who have purchased and had a good listen to a pair of the Mk 3s - what are the impressions of the sound vs the Mk 2s?

Some of the reviews I've read suggested they're not vastly superior sound-wise, and given the availability of s/h Mk 2s thanks to those of you with upgradeitis, I'm wondering whether it's better financially (and resource-wise) to go with those...

If you have a big head (or ears) the xm3 has reportedly bigger cups (deeper) for comfort.

It weighs less, the pads are softer and the clamp is not as tight. People saying the NC is about the same as xm2 and not quite as improved as Sony advertised, although this might be due to the softer seal around the ears.

Music seems to be on par if not better. Clearer bass is reported by some.

It does have quick charging (USB C) and bluetooth 4.2 over 4.1 on the xm2.

I would try them out in store.

I haven't tried them on, I missed the first wave of stock, really hoping I can get mine before I go to Melbourne on the 23rd.

The bigger cups appeal to me, and I don't have particularly big ears.
