Spong:
I've purchased several Kogan deals on behalf of others over the last couple of years, and found the SIM cards almost always arrive within a week. I believe they're distributed from a NZ address. Also have been extremely happy with these BOGOF deals for myself and family over the last year. WiFi calling and general call quality has been excellent, and far better than my time with 2D. Recently Vodafone opened up their 5G network to Kogan users also. As long as live support isn't a priority, nothing else comes anywhere near close to these deals.
I got the voucher codes emailed to me within about 20 minutes of buying, but my confirmation email says the estimated despatch date is 26 August for the SIM cards. I don't mind waiting, and it'll be a bonus if it arrives earlier.
One thing I've noticed so far is that Kogan are quite "enthusiastic" about sending marketing emails. In just 24 hours I've been bombarded with quite an interesting range of emails, but it was easy to opt out, so problem (hopefully) solved. I think what pushed me over the edge was the email suggesting I might like to purchase an air fryer to accompany my mobile pre-pay voucher. I wasn't tempted, even though the product suggestion was apparently picked especially just for me. I'm sure that many other people would naturally want an air fryer as a companion product for their shiny new pre-pay voucher, it's just not for me.
