If you happen to go into a mall, you will see that most stores will have big signs advertising sales, where products are rotated. The fact is that these days people won't buy things unless they think they are getting a good deal/discount, even if in reality it may not be that good a deal, people just see the percentage saving, and they think they are saving money.

That's good to know. Farmers and Briscoes seem to be the worst for doing it.

I do hope that it comes to an end, it might bring an end to those terribly annoying adverts!!

It's like countdown advertising price lockdowns when they are less than 9 cents under the price of the same item over the last 4+ weeks

With winter coming I've been having another look at those basic wall panel heaters.  I tried one recently when staying in a crappy hut up at Mt Ruapehu and it actually did a good job of heating the room.
However I've wanted one with a thermostat control, so it's not going constantly all night long when warm enough.  You can get external power-point thermostats but I see the Warehouse has a special on the panel heater with an inbuilt thermostat here for $75

Yep - ok until this page - the text boxes seem to have suddenly gone wider than normal and the
right hand side of the boxes gets burried under the right hand adds/info column.

Seems to happen sometimes - I have seen it before.
A little bug I think.

EDIT: broke line so it would show ok.

If you can drag your web browser window a bit wider than normal it will display the text boxes ok.
This is a workaround only though....

The Playstation Vita has a package deal going at the warehouse, PS Vita and a game for $250.  The deal gets even better when you realise the Little Big Planet Vita console is included in this deal.  So for $250 you get Little Big Planet, a Vita, 4GB card (those included in the LBP Vita console)  + another game of your choice.  If you are into lego games, the Lego collection is included in the deal, with that you get a whole lot of great lego games and a 16GB Vita card.

So for $250 you could get

Playstation Vita
Little Big Planet
4GB Vita memory card
16GB Vita memory card
LEGO Harry Potter: 5-7 Years
LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes
LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures
LEGO Batman: The Videogame
LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

Or instead of the Lego games +16 GB card you could choose which ever game you like - I got Killzone...I'll just buy a bigger memory card later.

I signed up to the free PS+ 14 day trial and am playing Uncharted at the moment as it's included for free with PS Plus.

There is debate wether the Vita is a dead platform or not, either way its a great device with a good enough library of big name titles and plenty of HD collections of PS2/PSP games.

If you add additional games to the cart on the Warehouse online store, they will be discounted to $50, so if you were planning to get a 16GB card anyway (the best price is $50 at Noel Leeming) you're better off adding the Lego Mega Pack to the cart in addition to the game you actually want, as you will get the 16GB card and you'll get those 6 lego games.
