Seems like a really good deal to me, looking at updating my 5 year old 50" which is starting to show a bit of burn. Not looking to spend over $2K

Edit: did some more research into the Panasonic, it doesn't support HDCP2.2 so will be missing some features from Blurays (maybe gaming too) such as HDR

are you sure? how can a brand new branded tv bought in 2018/19 not support hdcp 2.2

wow that is madness, my cheapo TCL supports HDCP 2.2. anyway, i don't know how it is specced for HDR and does not support HDCP 2.2, i thought it was a requirement

The same page also says HDCP 2.2 is supported on 3 of the HDMI ports, I dont know which one is correct but it would look pretty stupid not to have it on an HDR capable TV

Sometimes the specs page is wrong as it is likely copy and pasted and sometimes from the wrong product page

Here are some of the sales terms I saw today:

'40% off selected items'

'40% off - selected items excluded'

These first two seen at different shops, had me laughing to myself! Imagine trying to explain the difference in those two terms to young children.

'Up to 50% off, all stock reduced'

'25% off printer inks when purchased with printer'

'50 % off original prices'

And umpteen variations of the above.

JB Hi-Fi had some really sharp prices such as the Canon 3000D at $379.00 but overall their sale seemed nothing special. Only one printer appeared to have any price reduction. One portable hard drive had exactly the same price as their other sales this year. Logitech keyboards 20% off.

I saw one guy walking out of the mall with a boxed Christmas tree - I bet he got a good deal on that.

These brands are usually quite good if your products dont match the spec. I own a Sony 55x8000d tv which is a brand new exchange for a x8000c because the spec page promised hdr video through firmware update which never eventuated.

The best deals I've seen are

Samsung 65" q9 for about 3800 @ NL
Sony 70" 8300 model for 2,200 @ Sony store.

Anyone know of any good deals on battery powered lawn mowers? I'm thinking of buying one from mitre10 using the for every $100 spend get $15 voucher deal.

So looking for a new fridge Heathcote have one 978 , Farmers same model 1099 , walk into Noel Lemmings same model 1600 ask to price match wouldn’t match either due to stock levels, if they don’t have one in the physical store they won’t match. This whole meet every competitor slogan really is a crock

I finally got my Xbox one S to go with my Elite controller I bought new 18 months ago lol. Unused.

Super Cheap Auto have 30% off today

But, many prices seem higher than usual. No 'super cheap' deals on oil etc.
Its only good for stuff they never put on special through the year .

Thats a good deal for office 365 but does anyone know what you can actually use the Skype minutes for?
