clickmadness sale is doing the rounds again.

This was a particularly lame flop last time around, but thought I'd mention it all the same.
Much like others, it was a study in how to overhype and fail to deliver on all your advertising promise.

40% off headphones at Dick Smith for Queens Birthday weekend.

Selection in store was far better than online (I went to Manners Street). Got some Logitech UE 6000 head phones for $101 - Ive been looking for a while and best price I've seen is ~$170 at Noel Leeming which was 30% off their RRP (usual price is around $230).

The Harvey Normans Doorbuster Deals worked out really well for me.  I bought a new dishwasher and clothes dryer last Monday on a 50 months interest free deal, and delayed picking them up from the warehouse until Friday.  At which point the 15-20% discounts were released (alongside the 50 months interest free deal), bringing down the cost of the appliances by nearly $350.  I went into HNs to see if they would honour the new lower price (as I hadn't picked up the goods yet), and they were very obliging.  $350 saving for just asking nicely.  Nice one HNs! :)

If anyone is interested in a great spec'ed ultrabook the HP 13-3004TU is $1816 at JB HiFI.

This is a significant discount over Noel Leeming at $2999.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is a pricing mistake. They will be losing a fair chunk of coin at that price. The cheapest price elsewhere is $2500.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

15% off most things cardholder sale at the warehouse on the 7th and 8th - excludes anything you might actually _want_ to buy but I will be using it on some plastic storage boxes to sort more of my crap out.

This may not be tech-related, but still some damn fine bargains to be found:

Online casual streetwear clothing/shoe store Colabel (part of the Torpedo7 group, so perhaps Warehouse-owned?)  is closing down, and has much (all?) of its stuff on sale - for example I picked up a pair of shoes down from $160sh to $31.50.

Shipping is $5 or free with orders over $100.

Additional 10% discount on cost of goods if you enter the code "closing" at the checkout.

The shop closes on the 27th.
