Ordered one, but pretty sure now it is not going to go through. Not sure why I didn't think of the fact it is a pricing error last night. Anyone else actually got a confirmation email that theirs has gone through? Mine is sitting at in progress.

mrgsm021: Thanks for the heads up, took a risk and ordered one, fingers crossed...

Ordered a couple myself.
Not sure why you'd consider it a risk.  If they can't or won't fulfill they'll refund your money.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

So how did $48 end up as the price given that the number 4 nor 8 is in the price this morning...

Pretty hard to get to $48 from $362.95 by making a typo.

i think that might be the before price as you cant even add it to the cart at $362

Maybe the Windows 8 tablet shelves were too full and they had to make space So they rang up Toshiba and struck a deal

logo: Just ordered one too

Looks like it charges via the microUSB port so can't use USB devices at the same time. I would like to use my USB hub station thingy. Anyone know if there are adapters that allow charging and USB port use? (I've seen some homemade jobs)

this is the best one

Maybe the fact that the stock check was at 2.15am has something to do with it, if someone was doing price updates at the time... Nothing good happens after 2am.

Would guess that they decided to discount by x% and that value was $48 and they input the discount not the price

I think you folks have to wait and see.

  • It could be that $48 was the actual discounted price to get rid of old stock.
  • Or it could be that $48 was incorrect and they cancel all orders.
  • Or it could be that $48 was incorrect but they honour the orders.
  • Or it could be that they cancel the orders but in name of good PR they make an offer at a heavy discount over the retail price.
Wait and see folks. No reason to speculate more from here. Whatever it goes you folks have a good chance of still having a good deal.

Suppose we just have to wait for the sorry email on Tuesday. Hopefully they will do the refunds quickly.
Would be interesting to know how many they sold at the "super hot price"?

Sometimes these super hot type deals are for real.
Last year I got an email from one of the suppliers I use at work advertising a $200 digital multimeter for $17. It arrived a couple of days later. Wished I had bought a couple.
Don't know whether it was a mistake, or a special promotion because they were overstocked.

It will be interesting to see what happens on Tuesday.

Maybe they will let us have 1 for that price, but I don't see them letting orders of 5 or 6 happen.
I have a feeling they will just refund the money and wave us away :( lol
