I'm in Invercargill. I had one sim turn up today, hopefully the other sim will too on Friday. But thanks for the offer.

Hopefully not too many others are waiting for their Sims.

Hi. Does anyone know how to actually contact Kogan?? I bought a 2 for 1 Black Friday deal and they still haven't delivered the SIM cards.. I paid $250 for it and they say the deal needs to be activated before the 31st of this year but I can not activate it if I don't have the SIM cards. I sent them an email but they say the SIM cards are delivered. It seems bullshit that they do not include a tracking number for something worth $250. I want to contact them directly but they don't seem to have a number or anything to ring. Pretty pissed right now.

You can use other Kogan SIMs - they don't need to be the two that they send you. If you're using Kogan already, you can apply the voucher codes to the SIMs/numbers you already have.

I'm pretty sure it's chat or email only.

I do have one spare SIM (in theory a second is also in the mail) if you're in the Wellington area.

People upthread said that Kogan were willing to extend the expiry of the vouchers because they're having supply/postal issues with SIMs.

I hadn't received my SIMS ordered 22 Nov so on 15th Dec decided to buy 2 more and pay for fast shipping. Still haven't got those.

The originals did turn up just prior to Christmas only to find One NZ coverage is non existent in places I frequent (had moved my wifes phone over) so stayed with Skinny.

If you need to contact Kogan, try the chat on the help centre page "Live Chat is available 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Sunday.
Click the chat icon in the bottom corner to begin." This is how I was dealing with them. I've only had one sim turn up.

They stated on the chat that "We will bbe more than happy to assist you with the vocuer codes as well." sic. Hopefully that means they will honour the deal past the 31st

Kogan have stated that due to the overwhelming sign ups, that Sims were delayed being sent. Expect anywhere up to 14 business days.

Here are the providers that Kogan support porting a number from. If your provider isn't on the list Kogan won't do anything to help you with a manual port.

2    Spark
4    Telstraclear
5    One NZ
25    M2 Telecommunications
26    Black+White
27    2degrees
42    Skinny
52    Megatel SPID
83    Rocket Mobile
95    Slingshot
121    Warehouse
129    Mercury mobile
152    Digital Island Mobile
161    Mighty Mobile
162    Contact Mobile
245    Orcon
291    Compass
411    Blue Reach Local
412    Blue Reach Mobile
425    Kiwi Mobile SPID
501    Slingshot NextGen Mobile
502    Orcon Next Generation

Kogan don't advertise this list, which is something I think all providers should do. You only get this information when activating a SIM card you have already purchased.

I wish I had never looked into this promotion.

Both Kogan and Devoli are TDR members. It may be worth contacting them with your experience.

It may be possible to port from Devoli to 2d then to Kogan, or something similar.

Do that parallel with a whinge to TDR and ComCom.

If any refund was being processed, I would expect my login to fail and for the plans to not show up within the portal.

Both are still happening, even though Kogan promised the refund was going through.

Reading up on the complaints process, a formal complaint lodged with Kogan and the TDR.

Think twice about this promotion.

Shindig:Think twice about this promotion.

You've had a terrible time with the number porting, but I don't see anything wrong with the promotion itself. Kogan obviously need to sort part of the porting process but your LSP has been part of this issue too remember, and has had similar issues porting out to other provider(s) as well.

A reminder that you need to use the vouchers from this sale by MIDNIGHT NEW YEAR'S EVE, or contact Kogan and complain that you haven't received your SIMs yet and can't use them

Still haven't received my sims that I ordered on Dec 2nd. I got in touch via their help chat and they said they would extend the activation time. They emailed me a transcript of the whole conversation so they better hold up their end of the deal. $250 is a lot of money to me.

I have four Kogan SIM cards I mistakenly bought, thinking I needed to purchase SIMS before reading a SIM is sent out as part of the promo.

So 4 in country in Auckland if anyone needs 1 to 4.
