Now saying "Final 48 hours", for online sales.

But store sales will continue...

They had no plastic bags in the store I went to on Sunday. Heaps of people there but not many people buying given the still crazy high prices. But those who were had to carry what they bought.

Probably no idea what they have in what store anymore with things walking out the door and staff not caring much. No point counting them again.

I got some C and D rechargable cells for 70% off earlier on. Might go back for some more D's if they are 80% off. The crappy ones in my maglight dont last that long off charge.

It's hilarious that they're even trying to hock their store fixtures at exorbitant rates. $475 for a lockable glass cabinet (sans keys, of course), $5 for an old powerboard, and $3 for a freaking hook!

Glass cabinets can go for under $100 at turners, so I doubt too many people will pay half a grand for an old second hand one. If you look on trademe, a brand new one is about one grand, and second hand ones seem to range around the 100-300 mark, some cheaper. So 25% of th new price is probably more accurate. But guess they have to start high., and then go down over time, like they have been doing. When does the slow car crash actually end, and the doors close?

I had a look at the $475 cabinets today, and they don't look to be a great design. Also says they don't come with keys, so that is potentially a big cost to get it all keyed up. They were also selling wall fitting for between 1-3k. Many had yellow sold tags on them, so not sure if they are sold, as the tags didn't have any details. Did manage to key an ipad air2 bluetooth keyboard for $13, and a clear case for $4, both 80% off. but many of the things that were discounted by 80% such as the philips powerboards have gone. But heaps of things aren't discounted enough. Also they are just padding out the store with new shelves of HDMI cables. You have to wonder how many HDMI cables they actually have, and many are only being sold half their normal price.
