Jaxson: Mega look to be dumping a heap of those ring doorbell security cameras for $99 each.
First gen and they have the separate single point cameras also for $99.
Seems quite good for those (few ?) of us who still use Norton
$38 after the cashback.

The problem with a 75" TV is that (yes I am generalising) the cheap ones are pretty much all terrible.
The bigger a panel gets the more important it is that it is a good quality panel with a good upscaler.
Batman: Warehouse 75" TVs are not selling. Stock is the same today and 2 days ago.
Its too big to buy sight unseen and their website does such a terrible job describing its most basic features that who knows what the hell you will get with it.
I mean there are 2 pictures of it, but they have tried to make it look like 3 by flipping one of them.
and this is the whole total of the specs on it.
Its like they have put zero effort into trying to sell it, its a giant thing that would be expensive to return if it sucks and is too large really to demote to garage TV or similar if it ends up being terrible.
Effort like this is why I have zero sympathy for local retailers failing. Its not much of a deal if you have no idea what you are actually buying other than a black rectangle with those very precise measurements.
andrewNZ: It's a brilliant office 365 price, don't usually see it below about$98. I bought 2, I believe they stack.

Elsewhere I got a good deal on the Philips Hue gear that I was planning to buy. Noel Leeming had 30% off but I didn't want to buy from them because they are cowboys so I went to Bunnings and they price matched with an extra 15% as per their advertised guarantee. The whole process was reasonably painless.
What is the process with price matching? Just go to customer service? I'm planning on Hue myself.
The first couple of staff I spoke to seemed unsure, but the supervisor came over and told me to just go and grab the product and then bring it back to the main customer service desk for them to process the sale. They were happy for me to just show them the pricing on the competitor's web site on my phone.
The only complication is that some of the Philips Hue products on the shelves are empty boxes and need to be filled at the tools desk. Going to the tools desk in the first instance might have been better to avoid having to coordinate between the tools desk and the customer service desk, however I suspect the customer service desk might still have to process the discounting.

I wrote a blog post about some of the data PriceSpy has for those who are oblivious to it - https://www.geekzone.co.nz/sbiddle/8994
Awesome.
You have explained in detail what I have known. Beats me why people rush out in cars to hunt for parks, squeeze through crowds and maybe or maybe not actually get a "sale".
people do it because they want the deal before it runs out of stock. some deals are better than previous ones (some aren't either) so why not?
