I still don't know what the issue is. If it's a genuine mistake they can not fulfil the order. If i bargain with a shop and come to a price in writing and then decided not to buy it's the same thing.

NZCrusader: Bought 5 yesterday.

One for myself and the rest for family members, to help them with study and reading etc.
Hope its honoured. Would make my day.

Also wtf @ the guy who bought 20.

Way to ruin good things..

pot calling the kettle black ?!

I wonder when they inevitably cancel whether stocks will have run out so those they ordered on-line miss out even at the revised price !

I like to think that JBHiFi will offer those that ordered, a gesture like a discount voucher on something else when we get the cannot complete your order emails ?

I should have elaborated further.
I purchased on behalf of family.

They are reimbursing me as they do not have accounts with jbhifi.

Besides, there is a stark difference between buying 20 to sell for profit and buying on behalf of family.
(of which the intended tablet purpose is for education)

Toshiba WT10-A008 Encore 2 10.1" Tablet 10.1" HD (WXGA) Widescreen with LED Backlit Display Touchscreen (1280 x 800), Intel Quad Core processor Z3735F (1.33 GHz - 1.83 GHz, 1333MHz FSB, 2MB cache), 2GB RAM, 32GB eMMC, Intel HD Graphics, Windows 8.1

Sorry, the offer you were looking for has now expired... Try using our product search

They have removed the offer but not stated there's been a error in fact the above really does imply that there wasn't a mistake.  I would expect (stock pending) that orders should be fulfilled.  It would be different if they'd put a disclaimer stating a mistake had been made with their pricing but they haven't.  If they don't fill orders they could see themselves up for false advertising.

Good luck trying to sell this for $50 - no one wants them as far as trade me is concerned anyway

@jbthatsme, that almost seems like it would be the default behavior for when a product runs out of stock

@mrtoken, still in progress for me. I didn't order until 8pm~ last night

what time did you order, it appears you ordered before looking at your original post but mine [qty 1] is still in progress

maybe they cancel orders that are more than 1 ?

Think they are just going down the orders.
I would be a bit pee'd if people that only ordered 1 get it but people that ordered 2 did not.
But where do you draw the line of "buying over a set amount" as their was no "limit to 1" or anything.

If they are going to send any thing out then everyone should be set to 1 only and then by time.

Ordered more than 1 at 3:31pm yesterday and it's still showing as pending.

Will be happy with one but understand if all orders get cancelled.

A mate of mine went into JB Hifi and picked up 2 at that price and was told then it was a pricing error. I should lay claim to one of them but don't feel like depriving his mother of a new tablet.

I did try and get into jbhifi yesterday but because of the under 20 world cup thing in albany it took me 20 minutes just to get to the end of my street, so turned around and came home and ordered online

Well sometimes you win, sometimes you don't.
Would have been nice but will live with the stream 7 and surface pro
