The 35% discount ad still shows in my Web browser when I look at this page.
So if you enter GeekZone at checkout you should be ok.

kendo: Just started the trial. Is the discount still available if I sign up?

do you have an app for windows that switches the DNS whenever you want, like unblock-us?

The answer is "yes" to both questions. Look for the Unohelper app on their website and my friend just signed up and used the discount code successfully.

im thinking about switching, been with unblockus for nearly forever.

my concerns are
- does it work with all the same services as unblockus?
- is it as fast as unblockus?
- the netflix not available issue a month or so back, was this unotelly? (i had no such issue on unblockus)

Reven, I signed up with unotelly and am happy. I can't compare to anyone else, as I am a first time user.
But I recall they did have a weeks free trial so that may answer your questions as you can do some direct comparisons.

And yes from my memory they were effected by the netflix issues recently

Sign up for the free trial, that's what I did (was with UnblockUS).
- As far as I know it works with all the same (if not more) services than UnblockUS
- I noticed no speed dropoff, infact I think mine got faster.
- The Netflix unavailability was an issue with ISPs changing something, UnoTelly, UnblockUS and others were instrumental in working with ISP to resolve it.

thanks for that, I wasn't effecting (as i said) so wasnt exactly sure what the issue was.

I'll change my router over tonight to the trial and give it a go.  99% of what I watch is netflix, with the occasional flickster, iplayer, vudu thrown in.

I'm half way through my weeks trial and am quite happy with it, works really well on a Win7 PC, Hulu, BBC, ITV and AU channels are fine, with Geekzone discount it looks good.

I have a Android media box (mostly for XBMC which is awesome) and its a different story, most apps wont work, BBC, ITV, TenPlay don't, ABC iview works, Netflix & Hulu+ don't know as need subscription, if I use a browser, it detects its Android and tells you to use their app.

But the PC works great, as for Android, thats Android.

Looks like the GeekZone coupon expired, damn, just as my trial was coming to an end too.

The coupon would've been valid until the end of the advertising campaign - last 15th July.

Sigh just missed it by a few days.  Was going to wait until the end of my trial before signing up, but now the promotion code is gone...

Any idea if they will be offering another discount sometime soon?

Pity. But you still get discounts for a longer sign up. The one thing I found that I could do on Unotelly that unblock-us didn't (apparently) do was allow me to switch the location of my Sony BD player, so that I could get a choice of US or UK apps.
