Hi,

Have you came across the big sale which Noel 's have been promoting for a few days now?

http://www.noelleeming.co.nz/massive-sellout-2014

Any experinces from previous one's - is it worth attending. Do they do spot deals , match / best price etc?

Any other feedback - worth visiting / not? Is it worth visiting ?

Cheers

I went to one of these a year or two ago.

They have some really great deals and they also have a lot of product where the price is just "okay".

As with any shopping make sure you know the market price of stuff you want before you go along.

They have a lot of supplier staff there too so if you have questions it is a great place to ask as the supplier sales reps usually know their products extremely well.

Only in Auckland...

Why did they advertise in other parts of the country?

Mod request:  maybe move this to Bargains and Deals.  Target audience and all that.

Auto-correct is why I have crust issues.

I did a logo very similar to it in about 2000 when the @ symbol was used quite a bit due to the internet and email coming into mainstream use. To me it just looks dated.

Last year's edition of this event was actually well worth attending, imo, as there were some really good deals and for us it coincided with looking to replace some whiteware & other home electronics. Some stuff wasn't all that cheap (normal sale price), some stuff was extremely well priced (like clearance / closing down sale type prices). So if you are looking to replace anything or acquire anything new, like washing machines, dishwashers, TVs, etc, it's well worth going imo.

If someone is going today and planning to pick up a few things , can you pls report to us , in the format for the benefit of all of us here :

Product A Name ( Phone, Camera, TV etc )

What is the RRP generally, in NL normal store, harvery normal etc.

What is the online price you found - cheapest 2 ( one from the online store, and one from a "reputable " online store )

What price NL sale offered it to you.

What price did you haggle and get it down to.

Would be interesting to see a few examples.

Thanks !!
