I'd be pretty surprised. The US has improved a lot and SH wouldn't allow a thrashing like that, it would be bad for the game in the US.

I was just kidding as we are fielding a second string side,, but it will be a trashing no less.

Is it just my eyesight on a Sunday morning, or is this broadcast in SD?

Never mind the tactics, the spectacle is the thing that is important for this match. Welcome back Sonny-Bill! Your grid iron contact for 2017 is in the post.

I thought they were playing at 80% first half and 60% second half.

DC seems to be cautious not following thru his hip 100% only 60%. Trumps cruden's goal kicking even at that!

Good game. As stated in the after match, the games was a success before the first ball kicked. AB's good, especially for a second string side, albeit helped by poor defence. USA very good at attack and holding the ball in first half. Both sides a winner as I see it

Crudens Goal Kicking is a serious concern for me. 3 Points or 2 points even can win a world cup and I don't have the confidence he can kick a winning goal. Barrett looks a lot more comfortable kicking and obviously an undercooked Carter can outkick him too. Expect more from Carter next week as he gains some match fitness .

WB SBW hopefully your injuries and the others aren't too serious.

Boy did the ref have a howler yesterday. Shocking really.  Yellow card despite being advised against it no less than 3 times by the video ref? Reviewing the try AFTER the try was awarded?! There were a bunch of things that went really wrong for him he seemed in LaLA land.

Aaron Cruden needs to sort his kicking out quick smart, but then I don't rate him as our best number 10 anyways. The sooner DC gets back the happier I'll be, though I know that isn't a long term solution. I don't recall a time I felt Cruden looked comfortable kicking, compared to the likes of BB and DC or even Colin Slade.

We need a couple of Emphatic wins this last two tests I think for our confidence. We don't look quite as commanding as we did this time last year.

The ref really did have a shocker. I have no complaints about the penalty try being awarded (pretty much a standard thing if you give away multiple penalties in scrums while on your own 5m line) however I don't really understand how he didn't give one (+ a yellow) for the cynical foul after the break SBW made. It was a certain try for sure.

I agree we need to sort out our 10. However, I don't agree with you about BB kicking game. He came on and missed all but one. Together they kicked 3/8. Not good enough for either of them.

The game was dire to watch in places but I really enjoyed how Jonny May get the first try for England. It was the sort of play we expect from our backs.

That really was a great try, he really gassed us, quite rare, can't recall it happening in recent memory.
