I noticed the commentators were not talking about proposing either, seemed like it had been forgotten about.

I also want to ask about peoples experience with F1TV and the Chromecast with google TV device, should I start another topic or post in here?

I would post here as there is only a handful of us in F1, some will use F1TV. I do, but only to watch the archives (and on ATV4 so no help for you)

I sometimes watch on a Xiaomi TV stick (Android TV) at 1080p and it's solid, the new Chromecast should be better I imagine

I see your other thread, sounds like an issue with the new Chromecast tbh

Forgot to say for the French GP that the F1 Live channel commentary team of Ben Edwards / Jolyon Palmer / Sam Collins was an excellent combo, better then international (sky team) which didn't have Brundle this race.

agreed.

Crofty has a shouty voice and calls it as "he" sees it but unfortunately he has no idea what's going on.

One comment I read was that getting brake checked by Stroll was the last straw.

Lots of comments around who will take the spot (Mick is a feel good story) but also comments that the team is never going to do well with the current leadership.  Classic management style of I'm the boss like a traditional business, and throw money at it to solve problems.  Not a good environment to be in and they should be doing better than they are.  Equal to hASS in terms of not being a particularly nice place to be.

one of these weekends could get particularly interesting as the FIA only allocates 4 sets of inters and 3 sets of wets for the whole weekend (though in FP3 you get some new tyres for that session)

imagine a wet FP1 FP2 Quali and Race ....

Interesting race weekend. McLaren looking good although they are running higher power mode if FP. Rain for FP3 and Quali maybe, cooler on race day

I muted the audio when the pole sitter came on the radio. What an arrogant f***
